Empowering Growth through Wellbeing and Training

Person-centred learning and wellbeing practices, created to support balance and holistic growth

Ethics & Safeguarding

Safety, Integrity, and Professional Standards.

Empowering growth through a foundation of absolute safety, clarity, and ethical rigour.

ORGANISATIONAL SCOPE & CULTURE

Who We Are and Who We Train

Invictus Self is a trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming organisation dedicated to Empowering Growth through Wellbeing and Training.

We provide person-centred learning and wellbeing practices created to support balance and holistic growth. Our work spans mental health awareness, emotional wellbeing, and inclusivity (EDI).

Our community is diverse. We train and support a wide range of individuals, from those seeking personal clarity to highly qualified professionals, including doctors, psychologists, therapists, and frontline workers, who wish to integrate trauma-informed, inclusive, and emotionally intelligent practices into their work.

Our Operational Distinction

While many of our students and team members hold clinical or medical qualifications:

  • Invictus Self is an educational and coaching body, not a clinical mental health service or medical facility.
  • Our courses and coaching pathways provide qualifications and support designed to work alongside, not replace, conventional medical or psychological care.
  • We do not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe medication.

If you are in immediate crisis, please refer to our Support & Crisis page for appropriate resources.

SAFEGUARDING & QUALIFICATIONS

Our Commitment to Safety We are committed to creating an environment where abuse, harassment, and discrimination have no place.

Our Standards:

  • Clear Boundaries: Invictus Self is not a crisis service. We operate with clear professional boundaries and have procedures in place to signpost individuals to appropriate medical or clinical support when needed.
  • Trauma-Informed Approach: All our training and interactions are designed to minimise the risk of re-traumatisation. We prioritise choice, collaboration, and trustworthiness in every course we deliver.
  • Safeguarding Lead: Andreas Manole holds the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead. As a qualified Mental Health First Aider and First Aider, he is trained to identify signs of distress and provide initial supportive triage.

Read our Safeguarding Policy.

PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

Protecting Your Data and Your Dignity

Safety is not just about physical boundaries; it is about how we handle your story and your data.

  • Data Protection (UK GDPR): We are fully compliant with the UK Data Protection Act 2018. Your personal information and session records are stored securely using enterprise-grade encryption. We never sell your data.
  • Confidentiality: Whether in a 1:1 coaching session or a student assessment, your privacy is paramount. We do not share session content without explicit consent, except where required by law (e.g., risk of harm).

For full details on how we manage your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

ACCOUNTABILITY & REPORTING

Raising a Concern

We believe in accountability. If you have an experience with an Invictus Self team member, student, or practitioner that does not align with our standards, we want to know.

Reporting Procedure:

Please contact us directly and confidentially at contact@invictusself.co.uk.

Your report will be treated with seriousness, privacy, and care. We have a formal process for investigating breaches of our ethics, which may result in the suspension or revocation of qualifications where appropriate.
