The Invictus Self Operating System™ (ISOS™ Framework)

Stop Managing Time. Start Managing Capacity.

A regulation-first planning framework designed to align personal strategy with nervous system capacity. True high performance begins with psychological safety. This guide introduces the ISOS™ framework: a trauma-informed methodology for building resilience from the inside out. Beyond standard coaching, it offers a neuroinclusive roadmap to regulate your nervous system, set ‘SAFE Goals’, and lead yourself with compassion and authority.

Moving Beyond the Foundation of Burnout

Many traditional approaches to personal development and productivity are built like skyscrapers of ambitious goals constructed on foundations of exhaustion.

For neurodivergent people, those with chronic health conditions, or those navigating complex life shifts, this ‘hustle culture’ is often more than just tiring—it is fundamentally incompatible with how our systems function.

When we try to force execution without attending to our baseline safety, the result is rarely progress; it is more often a cycle of burnout and shame.

The framework operates through a cyclical loop of three distinct phases:

  • Phase 1: The Sensor (Self-Audit Wheel)- Instead of measuring external performance, we begin with an internal self-audit. This process helps you identify your current state of safety and regulation before you commit to action.
  • Phase 2: The Gearbox (SAFE vs. SMART)- This is your strategic decision point. When capacity is low, we shift into SAFE gear (Small, Aligned, Flexible, Enough) to protect your energy. We only shift into SMART gear when there is genuine room for growth, framing ‘downshifting’ as a protective, strategic move rather than a failure.
  • Phase 3: The Engine (ISPP Pyramid)– This planning structure moves you steadily from Clarity and Capacity through Action and Fluidity, eventually leading to sustainable Celebration.

Invictus Self is a trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming organisation. We actively reject toxic positivity and ‘one-size-fits-all’ narratives.

Our language is non-pathologising and free from ableist jargon, ensuring that your dignity and agency always come first. This framework is an architectural tool for your own human system—designed to be stable enough to weather real-world storms.

We are committed to a strong social-value model that increases accessibility to wellbeing education.

Because we believe these tools should be available to everyone—including those in frontline contexts, charities, or individuals managing financial constraints—we have made the ISOS User Guide and Self-Assessment available as a Pay What You Want (including Free) offer.

If you are in a position to contribute, your payment supports our ability to provide reduced-cost or pro-bono support to those who need it most. If you are not, please take these resources with our full blessing as a tool for your own grounding and growth.
